The new Subaru Legacy (pictured) has been revealed in Chicago The new Subaru Legacy was teased last week ahead of its reveal at the Chicago Auto Show, and now it’s been revealed it’s a bit…disappointing. It’s disappointing because it has really lost the flair and swoopy style of the new Legacy Concept we saw at the L.A. Auto Show in November, replacing it with a slightly rakish traditional saloon.

Toyota and Lexus cars may have problems with stalling engines

More than a quarter-million Toyota cars sold worldwide--including many Lexus cars--have engines that may suddenly stall while the car is moving, Toyota said on Thursday. So far, Toyota has not recalled the vehicles, which total about 270,000 units. And its announcement in Japan did not say how Toyota discovered the problem.

Nissan recalls Pathfinder, Infiniti QX4 for rusted steering column

Nissan is recalling at least 195,000 Pathfinder and Infiniti QX4 SUVs sold in 20 cold-weather states and the District of Columbia to inspect steering columns for rust and corrosion. Nissan is concerned that road salt used in these cold-weather states could cause the steering columns to rust through and possibly break off. In January, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration started investigating 35 reports of corrosion-related failure of the driver's-side front strut tower.
