NOS genuine GM lamp assembly, part number 20471079. GM used this in several different locations on various cars - courtesy lamp in quarter panel, cargo lamp in trunk or back storage, reading lamp above dash, etc.

All my GM books show this lamp as interchangeable amongst Chevrolet, Buick, Oldsmobile and Pontiac, but the only listings I can find in any of my parts books is Chevrolet.

Here's what I found for Chevrolet:

  • 1984 - 1991 Chevrolet Corvette, cargo lamp behind seat
  • 1989 and 1991 Chevrolet Cavalier convertible only - quarter courtesy lamp
  • 1982 - 1988 Chevrolet Cavalier convertible only - trunk lamp
  • 1982 - 1987 Chevrolet Cavalier convertible only - windshield header (reading) lamp

If anyone can steer me to applications for Buick Olds Pontiac, I'd like to hear about them.

Brand new, still in original GM box.
