SEMA buys Performance Racing Industry
Tue, 20 Mar 2012The Specialty Equipment Marketing Association (SEMA) on Tuesday finalized plans to purchase Performance Racing Industry, and the transaction will close later this month. John Kilroy, who has experience as editor and associate publisher of PRI Magazine and as vice president of the organization, will continue to lead it. For now, according to representatives from SEMA, it's business as usual.
Survey: 1 in 4 drivers break law every day

The most common offence is speeding, but nearly half of those questioned confessed to using their mobile to phone or text from behind the wheel, and a remarkable 41% said they had driven without wearing a seatbelt. GM posts wider loss, burns through $5.2 billion in cash
Thu, 26 Feb 2009General Motors, battered by a global economic collapse and buoyed by U.S. rescue loans, posted its sixth straight quarterly loss and burned through $5.2 billion in cash as revenue shrank by more than a third. The net loss of $9.6 billion in the fourth quarter compares with a loss of $1.5 billion a year earlier.
