GM moves Korean design studio to Seoul
Tue, 20 Apr 2010General Motors is moving its Korean advanced design studio from Incheon to the trendy Gangnam district of Seoul. The studio, one of 10 design studios worldwide for GM, employs 30 designers. It has prime responsibility for GM's small cars, such as the Chevrolet Aveo, Spark and Cruze.

Last month we reported that the 2012 Lexus RX 450h is on its way – together with an F Sport version – after scans from a JDM Lexus brochure leaked out. While most of the new cars on show won't be built around entirely new sheet metal - some will feature new powertrains, for example - the Englon TXN is indeed all-new. Sitting in Geely's Englon range, a sub-brand initially created for the taxicab, the TXN is intended as a replacement for the aging TX4 built by British automaker LTI (as well as at Geely's Shanghai Maples factory).
