Up for sale here is a set of front rocker reinforcement plates off my 1990 Ford Mustang convertible.  This will fit all 83 – 93 Mustang Convertibles.  This plate ties the front part of the rocker reinforcement (the part which runs the length of the rocker from front to back) to the frame rail.  These plates have been specifically modified to work with Maximum Motorsports full length sub frame connectors.  About an inch was cut off the plate to allow it to be welded to the side of the sub frame connector.  This part will not work on a stock application without the sub frame connectors.    The part has been media blasted and painted with PPG DP40LF epoxy primer.

Ford KA sells 500,000 in the UK

Wed, 15 Jul 2009

Ford has racked up total sales of 500,000 KAs in the UK And despite a few reservations when we did our Ford KA Review a couple of months ago, it looks set to continue racking up the sales with the new KA, which has already racked up 11,000 sales in the UK since it was introduced. To be honest, our only real reservations on the new KA were a couple of subjective styling issues and the somewhat hard seats. But it is undoubtedly a funky and capable little car that will serve Ford well.

Race-car drivers, you may soon be out of a job. Just as IBM built a computer that could beat humans at chess and even at Jeopardy, BMW has built a car that can beat your lap time. OK, the best drivers can still beat this car, but we can imagine a time when autonomous cars will handle all of our driving needs, even the competitive kind.
