This auction is for: A vintage Genuine original Repair manual (and Parts Catalog --part# RTC9888ce copyright Aug. 1987) set --Jaguar Corporation for 1983 84 85 86 87 88 Jaguar XJ-S/HE/V12 5.3 models by Jaguar Cars LTD, Coventry England part# akm 3455 (not reproduction, copy or a cd) Covers all V12 5.3 & 6.0 Litre models up to 1988 1/2 including coupes, cabriolets and convertibles. This manual is in excellent used condition--all pages are good just a few with fingerprints. There are instructions and procedures for maintenance, adjustments, minor service operations, removal and installation of components. This huge, softbound shop manual is roughly 1 ½ inch thick and has 21 sections including: Intro, Serial #’s/Load capacity & lubrication, Body, Frame, Shocks, Front suspension, Rear axle, U-Joints, Rear Springs, Brakes, Engine, Fuel system, Clutch & Transmission, Cooling systems, Fuel & Exhaust, Steering, Wheels & Tires, Chassis Sheet Metal, Chassis Electrical , Air conditioning and much more. With clear pictures, exploded view illustrations, wiring diagrams, schematics & specifications. These are what the Jaguar service department mechanics used to work on these cars when brought in for servicing...there is nothing more comprehensive or complete than one of these. Ford’s first Vignale-badged car Earlier this month, as the Frankfurt Motor Show approached, Ford revealed that it’s going back to a sales tactic they created in the 1970s – badge-engineering their cars with a coachbuilders name to create an upmarket sub-brand. Last time Ford played this game we had almost 30 years for the Ford Ghia, a range of Ford’s mainstream models that had all the toys as standard to try and create an appealing high-end option for buyers.

Oman Air publicised its role in transporting this prototype out to Muscat ‘as part of its early testing programme.’ We hope it travelled first class; the Lagonda will only be offered on sale to its wealthiest clients in the region. It’s only one month since Aston Martin confirmed the Lagonda project and issued a solitary teaser image of the saloon, side-on and shrouded in shadows.
