1983 Harley Davidson FXWG Shovelhead Frame with Swing Arm
Up for auction is a 1983 Harley Davidson FXWG Shovelhead Frame with Swing Arm that is in good straight shape that came from a running bike and is sold as pictured. The frame has no damage and has poor paint, scuffs and scratches on the bottom from general use but no damage. This frame has a reconstruct and has been set up for a 5 speed transmission with the proper transmission plate and had an early Evo motor in it.. It is sold with all of the parts pictured and is sold As-Is. I will also be posting the motor/transmission drive train components from this bike in separate auctions. Looking for all the world like a Clio that could take on the RenaultSport Clio 200, the Clio GT Line in fact has a 1.2 TCe petrol engine lurking under the bonnet, with a more modest 118bhp, 0-62mph of 9.9 seconds, 54.3mpg and emissions of 120g/km.

Ok so we don't really believe the Head of Design, BMW Automobiles sits dreamily sketching at a perfect desk with only a delicate espresso for company or that he cruises Munich in a (gorgeous) 2002 tii oldtimer for inspiration, but as an insight into what makes Habib tick, his design philosophy, and how he came to be in such a position, it's a beautifully-shot treat.
