Condition:Remanufactured Brand:T.G. Industries Manufacturer Part Number:18-059

This is a carburetor at was rebuilt by T.G. Industries, a subsidiary of Weber (part # 18-059). It was made for a 1983 Honda Accord or Prelude with a 1800 c.c. engine with factory air conditioning (except high altitudes). The carburetor is still partially sealed in it's blister pack. The good thing is that you don't have to turn in a core! Ebay's international shipping option is available, so if you live outside the United States, you can bid on it. I'll be placing the original box/carburetor inside a slightly lager box that is in MUCH better condition. I've shipped rare/expensive/delicate drums to Europe on more than one occasion with no complaints. I know how to ship stuff! If you have any questions, feel free to ask via eBay. I will NOT sell this item outside E-Bay. Don't even ask! Paypal accepted.

Please check out my other items on E-Bay. I'll be putting more carburators up for auction in the near future. I have quite a few of them!

Sat, 01 May 2010

The new Silverstone F1 Circuit was revealed this week Bernie will be pleased It’s been a bit of a saga for Silverstone and the BRDC of late, with a backwards and forwards ‘will-they, won’t-they’ get to host the British Grand Prix going forward. Bernie Ecclestone finally announced that Silverstone would host the 2010 British Grand Prix back in December  - although it could be argued only by default after Donnington went belly-up – and the circuit upgrades are nicely in time for the 2010 British Grand Prix in July. Prince Andrew did the official opening on Thursday and got the chance to lap the track in a 2-seater F1 car with Damon Hill at the wheel and former F1 driver – and now BBC pundit – David Coulthard also on track in a Red Bull.

Will the Toyota Prius plug-in cost much the same as a normal Prius?

Mon, 19 Sep 2011

Toyota Prius plug-in - only around £2.5k more than a regular Prius? Toyota has managed to corner the market in hybrid cars over the last decade after its remarkably prescient decision to focus on ‘Eco’ cars long before the mainstream cottoned on to the changing mood of governments – and car buyers – to the impact cars have on wallets and the environment. We won’t drag out our usual objections to the ceaseless quest for pointless ever-lower CO2 emissions, but we will instead commend the Prius for being a remarkable transport appliance, one which – if driven in a certain manner – can produce remarkable feats of economy and emit pleasingly low levels of the stuff that does real harm – NOx and Particulates.

With the unveiling of the new BMW M4 imminent, BMW’s excitement has got the better of it with the M Division releasing a video showing featuring the new M4’s engine note. The video might be called ‘BMW M is preparing something new’, but the engine isn’t really a fresh design. It’s actually a tweaked, twin-turbo version of the 435i’s 3.0-litre straight-six, making this the first M Division 3-series derivative to use forced induction.
