1983 Honda Xr500r Side Stand With Pivot Bolt on 2040-parts.com
Atlantic, Iowa, US
For sale is this used side stand for a 1983 Honda XR500R. The stand looks to be a little bent below the mounting clevis It also looks to have had some welding done around the return spring knob. I tried to get this area in a couple of the photos. The side stand functioned well on the bike. The pivot bolt and nut are in the mounting clevis. The paint is long gone and rust is starting. Sold as-is.
Buyer pays the cost of shipping. Cost will vary on location. I will ship overseas.
I will accept Paypal. Payment in full must be received within 3 days of the end of the auction.

Akio Toyoda waves family flag, heir makes crisis personal challenge
Wed, 24 Feb 2010The reclusive Akio Toyoda is taking the rare step of waving the family flag, as the scion to Toyota Motor Corp.’s founding dynasty tries to steer the world’s largest car company out of a spiraling safety crisis. In testimony prepared for the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, President Toyoda pursues a rare personal tack on the emergency, saying “my name is on every car.” “As you well know, I am the grandson of the founder, and all the Toyota vehicles bear my name,” Toyoda says in prepared comments circulated ahead of Wednesday’s committee hearing in Washington. “For me, when the cars are damaged, it is as though I am as well.” The intimate reflection is a departure for Toyoda, who has spent most of his career sidestepping public discussion of his lineage.
Range Rover Evoque Convertible NOT going in to production. Thankfully.
Sun, 07 Apr 2013It seems Land Rover is having second thoughts about making the Range Rover Evoque Convertible – shown at Geneva 2012 – in to a production model. But the one model we really couldn’t find a lot of positives in was the Range Rover Evoque Convertible – which arrived as a concept at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show – looking like the ultimate statement of Chav central for Tango’d ‘Ladies’ who lunch, from Brentwood via Surrey and up to Cheshire. We understood Land Rover’s impetus – they thought there’d be a market for a drop-top Evoque – but it really was a step too far for Land Rover to go.
