. BIKE DESCRIPTION. 1983 Husqvarna 430WR dirt bike. The frame number is WO05920. The case number is 2087 5111. I was told this bike was a runner. I did not try and start it. The bike had a ton of compression. I believe the previous owner.  ITEM DESCRIPTION. Up for auction is a used set of front motor mount plates and bolts. This is a nice item. Looks ready to use as is. Good stuff here. HOW AND WHEN TO PAY. I combine shipping to save you money. Please don't pay until i send you an invoice. Most of the time you will receive the invoice the night of the end of the auction. SHIPPING AND HANDLING WILL BE ADDED TO THE WINNING BID. I ship via UPS and USPS. Insurance will cost you a little extra. Delivery confirmation will be added to all domestic mailings. International bidders- if you want a tracking number, you must ask for express mail. First class and priority mail do not have tracking numbers. PAYMENT OPTIONS. I accept paypal. International bidders- i only accept paypal. Payment must be complete one week after the auction ends. Please make sure your paypal account has the correct shipping address. RETURN POLICY. I will accept returns on items that i have grossly misstated the condition of such part. You must contact me and state your case. If you win a Montesa piston and then find out it doesn't fit your 427 chevy big block, don't bother contacting me. I am fair and reasonable. FEEDBACK. I will leave positive feedback after you have done so. HOW TO GET BLOCKED. Well, of course if you win and don't pay, that will get you blocked right away. If you are rude, pushy, or just acting like an a-hole, you will get blocked. Once blocked, you will never get off that list (and i have lots of good stuff). So, don't get on my bad side. If you see something you don't agree with, please ask in a civil manner, and we will get along just fine. WHAT KIND OF PARTS DO I SELL. I sell used dirt bike parts. So, most of my items are scratched, marred, you know-USED. If you want like new parts, go bid on like new parts. If one of my items is like new, i will say so. Please take a good look (what you see is what you get). I will be happy to email extra pics. Please ask any and all questions as soon as possible. I sell used parts, so i cannot guarantee they will work. When i state they work, i know i have checked them. But, as with all used parts, who knows how long they will work. All sales are final. If you don't agree with anything you read here, please contact me with your concern. Thanks for looking and good luck.

Steve McQueen Porsche 911 hammers at $1.375 million during RM Monterey auction

Sat, 20 Aug 2011

Setting a world record for a Porsche 911 sold at auction, Steve McQueen's 1970 Porsche 911S went to a new owner for a cool $1.375 million during RM Auctions' Monterey event on Friday. The 911 wasn't just owned by McQueen; it also featured prominently at the beginning of the film Le Mans as the lead character, played by McQueen, drives through France reflecting on the realities of racing. Hagerty's Rob Sass and I checked out the car on Wednesday night at the RM Auctions preview.

Thu, 10 Oct 2013

It's not only domestic trucks that seem to be getting the attention of collectors. This week, there's a rather sharp-looking 1974 Datsun 620 pickup on eBay that has received quite a few bids. Even though this Datsun is for sale out of Texas, the seller claims that it spent most of its life in Flagstaff, Ariz.

Contest: Volkswagen Slipstream wins 2007 LA Design Challenge

Fri, 07 Dec 2007

Volkswagen's Slipstream concept has won the fourth annual Design Challenge competition, part of the Design Los Angeles automobile designer's conference. The award was presented during the second press day of the 2007 Los Angeles Auto Show.  The theme of this year's competition, RoboCar of 2057, asked eight automotive design studios in California to form their vision of the future by depicting a vehicle that incorporates artificial intelligence engineered to make life easier and more attractive to consumers 50 years from now. Designers entered two-dimensional renderings and concept descriptions predicting how the rapidly advancing field of artificial intelligence will integrate into the automobile to make life safer, more practical and attractive, and the entries were judged by multi-discipline design professionals who selected the winner based on its originality of creative concept, integration of robotics and level of adaptation to a variety of environmental conditions and consumer needs.
