Rare: Original owner's manuals set for: 1983 Porsche 911 SC models. This is an authentic, original print, period correct and vintage Porsche literature set!

This manual set is NOT a recently circulated item as it had been in storage for many past years!

List of contents:

1- Original Porsche embossed burgundy/maroon (vinyl) manuals Pouch (storage case) --- used but clean case - this is the genuine Porsche pouch and NOT a cheap reproduction or flimsy knock-off imitation - the inner lining color is also the correct color for this model year - there are no rips or separations of the inner pockets - the pouch is still very soft and flexible but it shows many ripples and wrinkles due to storage in a hot climate - some minor smudge marks are also noted - please see photos!

2- Porsche 911 SC Owner's Manual Model '83 (WKD 471 721   3.5 M  7/82   Model 1983) 91 pages of reading material and information --- the books is used and in fair condition - wear marks are noted on the front cover - back cover shows noticeable stains and wear marks - please see photos! 

3- Porsche 911 SC Warranty & Maintenance Model '83 booklet (WKD 433 723   3.5 M  71/82   Model 1983) 25 pages --- shows 1st in-service date in Jan 1983 stamped by Porsche dealership in WI - the prior vehicle's VIN and prior owner's information will be concealed - 16 x additional service stamps have been entered - last service recorded in Apr 1997 @ 80,820 miles - 2 of 4 change of ownership transfer vouchers are present!

4- Blaupunkt Autoradio Service: period piece, service outlets publications for the Blaupunkt radio products --- top left corner is missing a small piece - this is NOT a radio operations manuals!

Overall this manual set is in FAIR to GOOD condition!

GM announces pricing for 2014 pickups

The redesigned 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickups go on sale this spring with V8 engines that General Motors claims will get slightly better fuel economy than the rival Ford F-150 equipped with a turbocharged V6. Chevrolet is holding the base sticker price on the 2014 Silverados to the same as that of the 2013 models. This means a rear-drive 2014 Silverado with the base V6 engine will sticker at $24,585, although that model won't be in dealerships until this summer.

NHTSA fielding complaints about 2009-10 Toyota Corolla steering

Toyota Motor Corp. faces yet another possible federal investigation, this time of the electric power steering in 2009 and 2010 Corollas. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is considering a formal investigation of alleged defects reported in the compact car, agency spokeswoman Karen Aldana said Monday.
