BUICK WIRE HUBCAP

THESE  CAPS ARE GETTING HARDER TO FIND AND REALLY COOL TO DISPLAY IF YOU ARE RUNNING CUSTOM WHEELS.  ONE 14 INCH REAR WHEEL DRIVE IS INCLUDED.  I BELIEVE THIS MAY BE A 1984 OLYMPICS VERSION BASED OFF THE BLUE CENTER WHICH BY THE WAY IS EASY ENOUGH TO CHANGE OUT AS BUICK USED A VARIETY OF CENTER CAPS OVER THE YEARS.

ON TO THE DESCRIPTION.  WE TRY TO BE AS HONEST AND COMPLETE IN OUR DESCRIPTIONS AS WE CAN.  THIS IS AN UNRESTORED CAP IN REALLY GOOD OVERALL CONDITION.  A GOOD CAP FOR THE VEHICLE MISSING ONE.   IT SUFFERS FROM SOME  TYPICAL WEAR INCLUDING  A COUPLE OF LITTLE DINGS, BB SIZE FOR THE MOST PART, AND A COUPLE OF TINY TINY NICKS.   IT ALSO HAS SOME PAINT WEAR, TYPICAL OF CAPS FROM THIS ERA.     ANYWAY, IT IS NOT PERFECT FRIENDS, NONE OF THESE OLD CAPS ARE.  HOWEVER IT IS A VERY VERY GOOD, UNRESTORED EXAMPLE THAT WOULD LOOK GOOD IN MOST APPLICATIONS.  HARD CAPS TO FIND AND VERY REASONABLY PRICED.  COOL WALL ART TOO.

COOL EXAMPLE FROM A DAY GONE BY.  ON A SCALE OF 1-5 WITH 5 AS THE HIGH, BASED ON AGE, RARITY & CONDITION I RATE  THIS CAP A 4 PLUS OVERALL.  PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES CLOSELY TO MAKE SURE IT IS WHAT YOU WANT AND NEED BEFORE BIDDING.  THANKS!

ONE OTHER COMMENT, WE SPENT A SEVERAL WEEKENDS AT SOME OF THE LARGEST SWAP MEETS IN THE MIDWEST OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS.  HUNDREDS OF VENDORS, THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE AND NONE OF THESE.  TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT THEM.  WE ALSO ATTEND BARRETT JACKSON AND MECUM AUCTIONS REGULARLY. THE POINT IS THIS.  ONLY THE FINEST AND ULTRA EXPENSIVE CARS SEEM TO HAVE PERFECT TRIM.

I try to be honest about what I sell.  Almost all of these old hubcaps have imperfections.  Unless you are willing to spend hundreds for a set the best you can do are look for those in decent shape which these are.

WE SHIP ALL OVER THE WORLD AND COMBINE SHIPPING!

These old car parts are becoming more and more scarce.  After 9 years of selling over a 7000 items we've come to this conclusion.   If we can't sell the parts for a reasonable price, we're going to warehouse them. This is especially true of the nice parts and more unusual parts.  All they can do is go up in value.  Our point is this.  We've got the space and the means to collect and store what we sell.  Having said that don't be surprised if we run an item only once or twice and if it doesn't sell it doesn't show back up.  Please don't misunderstand us.  We want and do appreciate your business.  It just doesn't make sense to us to spend time and money relisting items over and over when almost all of these parts have only one way to go in the future.  UP.

PLEASE NOTE:  DUE TO SEVERAL NON-PAYERS WE HAVE ADDED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT MEANT FOR THOSE TYPE OF BIDDERS.  WHILE THE VAST MAJORITY OF BUYERS PAY FOR WHAT THEY BID ON, WE HAVE RECENTLY SEEN A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN UNPAID ITEMS.  SO>>>IF YOU PLAN ON BIDDING PLEASE PLAN ON PAYING.   THANKS.  HAPPY BIDDING.

First Sight: Mercedes-AMG GT

Wed, 10 Sep 2014

“If I was to buy any sports car that wasn't a Mercedes, it'd be a Porsche 911,” says Mercedes' head of design, Gorden Wagener. “But when you see the two cars together, we think ours has the edge.” He's talking about the new Mercedes-AMG GT, a front-mid engined, two-seater sports car that's unashamedly aimed at higher-end 911s, and we've come to see it at Mercedes' Sindelfingen studio.  The GT replaces the larger SLS, and is seen by Wagener as the best example yet of his 'sensual purity' design philosophy: “The SLS is very much [he gestures] line, line with a surface in between. With the GT we started with the surface and worked to refine and reduce the number of lines.” Elements of the SLS's platform have been carried over, so the GT measures the same 1,939mm wide.

New Ford Ka city car concept revealed

Thu, 14 Nov 2013

Ford’s Ka city car was a revelation when it was introduced back in 1996. It offered cheap thrills thanks to a sweet little chassis, and fresh styling compared to contemporary compact hatchbacks. Now, the Ka legend is moving onto its third generation with this, the 2013 Ford Ka concept – "a cleverly designed and fuel-efficient new choice for urban consumers," according to Ford.

The ultimate Christmas present – life-size Lego car in pictures

Mon, 23 Dec 2013

Tell someone you want a life-size Lego car complete with a working engine made from the mini bricks at this time of year and they might laugh it off as a festive joke. But while little ones all over the world might be playing with Lego Santa brought them this Christmas, we’ve got our eyes on another, rather more impressive model. It’s called the ‘Super Awesome Micro Project’ and it’s awesome.
