Straight from the deepest depths of “why didn't we think of that?” comes this excellent application of American ingenuity and can-do spirit, a 1987 Chrysler Town and Country station wagon with the “motor, transmission, suspension, brakes and everything little in between” from a 2005 Dodge Neon SRT-4. FCA issues warning on logbook loans

VULNERABLE people who use their car as security to take out a loan are finding themselves squeezed even harder financially and even threatened, the City regulator has found. The Financial Conduct Authority warned it will put firms offering logbook loans out of action if they do not "dramatically" improve their standards, after finding evidence of poor behaviour including little or no affordability checks being carried out and some applicants being encouraged to manipulate details of their income. It said lenders are failing to properly spell out exactly how expensive such debts will be, with the true cost often masked by an emphasis on "low" weekly repayments and key terms and conditions buried in small print.

Audi e-tron Spyder concept

Audi revealed the latest iteration of its e-tron product range in the form of the Spyder concept at the 2010 Paris motor show. The roadster showcases the brand's plug-in hybrid technology cloaked in an emotional two seat package. Measuring 4060mm long, 1810mm wide and 1110mm high, the Spyder is only slightly larger than the electric e-tron concept shown in Detroit earlier this year.
