1984 to 89 CORVETTE DIGITAL DASH CLUSTER REPAIR SERVICE. You are buying a repair service.

This is a repair service for your 1984 to 1989 Corvette digital dash, your choice. A repairable dash must be sent that has three good displays. You will be receiving your dash back after repairs have been performed usually within one business day. If your displays are good the auction price is all you will pay, this includes power supply  replacement with a new state of the art power supply. NOTE: Some repair listings charge extra for a new power supply we do not. The old power supplies are 30 years old technology and are the heart of the problems with these dashes. The power supply is 90% of the problems with this dash and about 70% of the power supplies can not be repaired. Many have emailed to ask what is a defective display. A display can be broken, cracked or shattered and it can be sunburnt. A sunburnt display has been damaged by the sun, with power on the dash the display is bright and washed out and can not be read. With power off the display is supposed to be black, if you can clearly see the Tach and Speed graph and see the numbers with power off, the display is sunburnt. The same goes for the center fuel display. Another indication of a sunburnt display is a bright circle in the center of the displays with the power off.

PHOTOS IN THE LISTING ARE AN EXAMPLE OF SUNBURNT DISPLAYS. NOTE: EACH DEFECTIVE DISPLAY WILL BE $125 EXTRA FOR A NEW DISPLAY, THERE ARE THREE (3) DISPLAYS. IF YOUR DISPLAY IS NOT BROKEN ONLY SUNBURNT I CAN REPOLARIZE THE DISPLAY FOR ONLY $25 EACH . Sometime the display is so sunburnt that the back graphics lifts and curles this type of damage can not be repaired and the display will need replaced. You will be notified if there are any additional charges before the extra work is performed.
