We’d expected the Speedback to be yet another take on the E-Type – based as it is on the underpinnings of the still very able Jaguar XKR – but instead it was a proper classic GT car that looks much like a classic Aston Martin from the 1960s – think DB5/DB6. Fiat UK launches design competition

Fiat Group Automobiles UK, has announced a nationwide design competition to find fun new ways to travel. The competition starts today. The contest, called the ‘Smiles per Hour Design Competition', is a UK-wide search for budding inventors of tomorrow to create interesting and amusing ways to enjoy a journey.

GM recalls 2011 Cadillac SRXs for airbag fix

General Motors is recalling 50,500 copies of the 2011 Cadillac SRX crossover because the front-passenger airbag does not work as outlined in the owner's manual. The recall affects 47,401 vehicles in the United States, with the remainder in Canada and Mexico. GM said there are no reports of crashes or injuries related to the issue.
