Up for auction is this pair of rear fender protectors / finishers / trim with mounting hardware removed from a 1985 Honda ATC 250ES Big Red.  There are normal wear and tear scratches and marks but no cracks in the plastic.  The right side trim has more scratches and I've tried to show them in the second to last picture.  In my opinion, the scratches are what you would expect from a 31 year old part.  Each side comes with three clips, 1 screw and 1 threaded nut plate.  In addition to this attachment hardware, there was a hole at the short angle piece that had a small nut rivet holding the trim tight to the plastic fender.  I don't know if this how they came or if it was added - I don't remember it on the last pair I saw.  It is most easily seen in the sixth picture - about 2 inches from the right edge of the part.  It cannot be seen from the outside of the fender when attached and wouldn't have noticed if I wasn't taking the part off.   What is shown in the pictures is exactly what is included.  Overall, the part is in good used condition.

The pictures show the part immediately after being removed.  I will be happy to furnish additional pictures if needed.  I prefer to show pictures of parts in the condition they were in when removed so potential buyers can see how they were treated.  The part will be received as it is shown in the picture and may require some cleaning before use.

This part may fit other year and other Honda model machines.  If you are intending to purchase this part for any year or model different than what is listed in the title, please consult with your local Honda parts dealer to insure that it will fit your application.

Volkswagen CrossBlue Concept redesigned for LA Auto Show

Volkswagen has tweaked the CrossBlue Coupe Concept for the 2013 LA Auto Show after its appearance at the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show. The concept car itself is based on the CrossBlue three-row crossover concept that we saw at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, and given Volkswagen's persistence with the concept and its favorable reception it seems like it may be headed for production in the not too distant future. Even though it appeared as a seven-seat crossover concept in Detroit, Volkswagen has apparently reconsidered the vehicle's size, and decided to target crossovers one size smaller in this iteration of the CrossBlue.
