Norfolk-based Breckland - part of Hong Kong-based multi-national, Riche Holdings - will display a new hand-built, two-seat Beira roadster at the forthcoming London Motorexpo. Based GM's Kappa platform, the Beira features new front and rear body sections made from lightweight composites instead of steel. This not only enabled the creation of a distinctive nose section and pronounced fastback rear, but it also cut down on weight.

The new F12 Berlinetta is an extraordinary car on paper: its 6.2-litre V12 packs 730bhp and 509lb ft – all of which you'll hear deployed in this official Ferrari video. CAR will get to drive the car over the coming months, but for now you'll have to watch this video of the car demonstrating its 3.1 second 0-62mph capability.

The winners of the 2011 Car Design of the Year awards, as voted for by the Car Design News readership, were unveiled on the evening of the first Geneva motor show press day at the annual Car Design Night at La Sip nightclub in the Swiss capital. The event was one of the busiest in recent memory, with over 400 designers in attendance. The winners of the annual Car Design of the Year Awards were presented by Car Design News' Editor, Owen Ready.
