Vintage 1985 Central National Meet souvenir shifter knob looks lightly used and is in excellent overall condition with no chips or cracks.  It is about the size and shape of an old door knob.  It looks like a bakelite type composition.  On the label, it says "CENTRAL NATIONAL MEET 1985 DALLAS-FORT WORTH".  It is threaded to fit on your early Ford V-8.  A great add to any Ford collection.

British restorer upgrades the Jaguar E-type with modern materials

Here's an item that caught our attention in light of the 50th anniversary of the Jaguar E-type. British company Eagle makes a business of selling and restoring E-types. Its latest project takes the classic sports car and upgrades it with some modern technology.

The 2014 Nissan GT-R will cost $100,590 including a $1,000 destination charge, the company said on Thursday. That's an increase of $2,770 over last year's price. The GT-R Black Edition will come in at $110,300 with the destination charge.

Maserati has released photos of their new coupe, the GranTurismo, in advance of its unveiling at Geneva next week. Designed by Pininfarina, the sketches also circulating were by Jason Castriota who penned the Maserati Birdcage concept shown in Geneva in 2005, before it turned heads at the Goodwood Festival of Speed that year. There is affinity between the two designs, and a more aggressive look than the current car designed by ItalDesign.
