The item offered in this auction is a used condition set of four 14" hub caps removed from a 1985 Ford LTD Crown Victoria four door. These hub caps are no better than average condition with typical dings and scrapes around the outside lip. As I took pictures, I started with the best cap, and stacked the caps up from there...best to worst. The first cap is in good used condition with only the slightest of tiny dings or marks. The rest all have dings at the outer lip, and the last one atop the stack is the worst. these caps would work good for a daily driver or work car. While these parts were removed from a 1985 LTD Crown Victoria, it is likely that Ford used the same parts on other years and models as well.

Fiat 500X SUV & new baby Jeep confirmed
Fri, 21 Dec 2012Fiat has confirmed it is extending the 500 range with the Fiat 500X SUV and will build a new small Jeep crossover on the same platform. We’ve just had the first extension of the 500 range arrive in the UK in the guise of the Fiat 500L (complete with 500L ‘Motherhood’ rap), but the 500L range isn’t going to end there. Following on from a sneak peek at a probable future Fiat 500X SUV back in July, Fiat has now confirmed it is going to put the rufty-tufty version of the 500 in to production and will build it alongside a new baby Jeep crossover – based on the same underpinnings – at its Melfi factory in Italy.
Audi, Honda, Hyundai, and GM to bring Android to cars
Tue, 07 Jan 2014General Motors, Audi, Honda and Hyundai have joined forces with Google and Nvidia to form the Open Automotive Alliance (OAA), their overarching goal being the integration of Google's Android software into automotive infotainment systems. The OAA will use Android's open development model to bring a greater variety of functions to car infotainment systems, which have noticeably lagged behind smartphones when it comes to capability due to long development periods, fast changing technology, and a glut variety of incompatible systems. The alliance's first order of business will be to develop new Android platform features to enable the car to become a connected Android device.
