 Up for sale is a engine or motor case from a 1985 Honda 250 Rebel.  This came from well running 1985 CMX250 with 18k miles and may fit other models but, please check with your service technician for proper fit and function on your bike. Very good used condition; includes parts shown (see photos). Case No. MC13E-5016435. No cracks, breaks, repairs, or stripped threads. Worked well before removal.  Local pick up welcome. Geneva Show 2014: Adam gets hot

VAUXHALL’S stylish baby car has appeared in a more performance-oriented form at the Geneva Motor Show. The Adam S uses the familiar 1.4-litre engine already seen in the standard Adam but here it comes in turbocharged form to release 148bhp and 162lb.ft of torque, significantly more than the current most powerful Adam model. As with other sporty Vauxhall models the Adam S has chassis upgrades including bigger wheels and tyres, stiffened and lowered suspension and high specification brakes.

The report of this ‘Breaking News’ cites a company report by Tata which indicates a joint engine development programme is being considered.

By Ben Pulman 12 December 2013 12:00 Nissan is targeting an entry into the 2015 Le Mans 24hrs with a race car that will be radically different to the LMP1 prototypes fielded by Porsche, Audi and Toyota. Nissan will compete at Le Mans in 2014 with the radical ZEOD RC, filling the ‘experimental competitor’ pit garage last used in 2012 by the Nissan-powered DeltaWing, but it wants to use that experience to build a challenger for the premier LMP1 category in 2015, one that stands out from the rest of the field. ‘We have an active programme now,’ Nissan chief planning officer Andy Palmer (pictured, right) told CAR.
