This power head was removed from approximately a 1985 (based on serial number) - 88hp 2 cylinder Johnson outboard (model # J25RCOS) in perfect running condition. We spun compression on each cylinder before dismantling the outboard and it has 80- 90 psi on both cylinders. It has not been rebuilt...it is simply a good, used powerhead with great compression. It is ready for you to move the electronics and accessories off of your motor onto this long block (block, crankshaft, pistons & cylinder heads). The faux-4x4 will be launched at the Paris Motor Show later this year, before going on sale in the UK in March 2009. Underpinning the Soul is an all-new platform but it will lift engines and transmissions from the Ceed hatch, led by 1.6 petrol and diesel engines.
