Infiniti EX35
Fri, 24 Aug 2007The EX35 is a slightly smaller and more mainstream SUV than its FX bigger brother from which it takes its core 'coupe SUV' theme. Despite the coupe design references, the vehicle is similar proportionally to the Lexus RX300 and BMW X3 which it will compete with in the US - and also in Europe when the Infiniti brand debuts next year. Little different to the Infiniti EX concept shown in New York, the EX35 uses the core Infiniti graphic design signatures and soft form language but introduces a new flowing side feature line not seen on the Infiniti G37 Coupe launched a few months ago. Interesting technical innovations include the 'Around View Monitor' that uses four cameras to give a 'top-down view' of the outside of the car, and 'Scratch Shield' - a new self-healing clearcoat paint. Dakar Rally 2012 Day 2 update
Tue, 03 Jan 2012The first major motorsports event of the year, the 2012 Dakar Rally, began its two-week trek across South America on Jan. 1. Four hundred and sixty-five vehicles (171 cars, 185 motorcycles, 33 quads and 76 trucks) with drivers representing 50 nationalities will attempt to cover 9,000 kilometers (more than 5,500 miles) over 14 days throughout Argentina, Chile, and Peru.
2104 Mercedes C-Class: First exterior photos leak
Tue, 29 Oct 2013Mercedes started to tease the 2014 C-Class last week, followed quickly by the first official interior photos of the new C-Class. Now we get the first leaked photo of the exterior. Looking very much like an evolution of the current C-Class – but with overtones of both the CLA and new S-Class – the new C-Class is going to have to be special to compete not only with the BMW 3 Series but also Mercedes own A-Class range.
