One week we could be in an old school, the next week a factory, and the following week a Shipyard or Power Plant. One day we may be removing Vintage lighting, the next Signs and Vintage blueprints, and the following day we clean out the Machine shop and parts crib. Tue, 05 Nov 2013The Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Meo Costantini (pictured) is the latest ‘Legends’ Veyron Bugatti are continuing on their path of making just about every Bugatti Veyron that comes out of the factory a special edition car, so we get the third in a series of ‘Bugatti Legends’ cars in the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Meo Costantini at the Dubai Motor Show today. The Meo Costantini – named after Ettorio Bugatti’s friend and the one-time head of the Bugatti Race Team – is being built in a three car run, just like the Jean-Pierre Wimille Special Edition Veyron. Power from the Meo Costantini Veyron is the same as the regular Grand Sport Vitesse – 1200 horses from its 8.0 litre W12 and a 0-62mph of 2.6 seconds and top speed of 253mph – but it gets cosmetic tweaks to suit its association with Meo Costantini.
Tesla Model S burns in Seattle
Thu, 03 Oct 2013A Tesla Model S crashed and burned on Tuesday morning in Seattle. The electric-vehicle manufacturer told Bloomberg that the Model S “collided with a large metallic object in the middle of the road, causing significant damage to the vehicle.” More specifically, the object struck the Tesla's battery. The report worried investors, and Tesla stock fell 6.2 percent on Wednesday.
Fisker Karma recalled over fire risk
Tue, 21 Aug 2012The Fisker Karma has been recalled after a fire in Woodside, Calif., where the source was determined to be a low-temperature cooling fan. This is the second fire for the Karma this year; the other happened in Fort Bend County, Texas. Around 1,400 Karma models already in customers' hands will be recalled, along with 1,000 that have yet to leave dealerships.
