Subaru BRZ Turbo to get 280bhp

The much hoped for Subaru BRZ Turbo – the Subaru version of the Toyota GT86 – is set to arrive in 2014 with 280bhp. Last year we reported that a Subaru BRZ Turbo was in the planning (even though the official line was that the BRZ and GT86 would stick with natural aspiration) and now it looks like development is well advanced and the BRZ Turbo will arrive in 2014. Automotive News are reporting that Subaru are working hard on a turbocharged direct injection version of the BRZ with a single twin-scroll turbo they’ve developed in-house, as opposed to the port injection system currently used in the BTZ, which is a Toyota system.

The new Nissan Note has been revealed in Japan, previewing the Nissan Note for Europe which will debut in 2013. The new Nissan Note has been revealed in Japan, and although it gives us a good idea of what Europe can expect from its new Note which will arrive in 2013, there will be differences. It’s expected that the new Nissan Note for Europe will more closely resemble the Nissan Invitation Concept we saw at the Geneva Motor Show in March, but the JDM Note also gets some of the styling cues from the Innovation concept.

Honda to enter BTCC with new Civic Tourer

What do One Direction and Honda’s British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) team have in common? While both were initially likeable and talented, they’re now starting to get a little bit too cocky. With four successive championship wins under its belt, Honda has announced that it will enter its new Civic Tourer estate into the BTCC next year.
