Thu, 09 Feb 2012The new Mitsubishi Outlander debuts at Geneva 2012 The new version of the Mitsubishi Outlander, previewed as the PX-MiEV II Concept, has been revealed ahead of its debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. Mitsubishi lay claim to their Outlander being the first ’Crossover’ to the market 11 years ago, or at least the Outlander was the first car to be called a crossover. And now we have a new version of the original crossover, with the debut next month at Geneva of the new Mitsubishi Outlander.

But with a remit extending to the interface design of every vehicle in GM's global portfolio, his influence will soon be widespread. After graduating from Art Center with a degree in transportation design, Townsend interned for Toyota but soon moved to Motorola, where he developed wearable Bluetooth technology and designed the familiar headsets worn by coaches in the NFL.

In 1984, Ferrari built a radically modified twin-turbo 308 GTB with an eye toward Group B road-racing rules. Porsche countered the resultant 288 GTO with the mighty 959, which launched at about the same time as the 288's successor, the practically skeletal and infinitely loopier F40.
