This is the Passenger R-H side Power Rear Door Handle, from a 1990 Jaguar Sovereign.  It is a very nice piece . Please look at my pictures closely, as returns are expensive for both you and I.  I will return if there is something wrong with my piece, that is my fault.  I always try to give a very clear description, as honest as I can be, so between my pictures and my description you should be safe to bid or pass.  I charge shipping so you know what it will cost you to send it back, instead of adding and including in my price. Finally, please feel free to contact me before or after a sale to ask me a question.  I would rather have you find out something that makes you say no than have you buy and not want the piece after you get it.  Thank you for considering my pieces, I think you will like them. . .Jeff.

Crunch watch Dec 08: the auto industry in crisis

Wed, 31 Dec 2008

By Tim Pollard and Simon Stiel Motor Industry 31 December 2008 14:05 Wednesday 31 December 2008• GMAC, GM's finance arm, said it would immediately revise its criteria for providing loans, after the US government bail-out of the General's credit arm. It will now supply credit for anyone with a score of 621 or more on the Fico scale, the scale used to assess Amercian customers' creditworthiness (Financial Times)• The news means that 80% of US consumers would now qualify for a loan from GMAC – which should improve sales in the depressed US market (Detroit News)• Chrysler is being lambasted for taking out full-page adverts in the American national press thanking the nation for supporting its auto industry. But critics point out this is a fresh waste of bail-out resources, as pages in the Wall Street Journal – one of the titles in which the ad ran – reportedly cost up to $264,000.

Hyundai wins Red Dot design award for New Genesis & New i10

Mon, 24 Mar 2014

The Hyundai Genesis (left) and Hyundai i10 have won the Red Dot design Award Oh, how things change. It’s not long since Hyundai’s USP was the cheapness of its cars, but those days are now gone; Hyundai now competes head to head with mainstream makers as the strength of its products improves with every new model and its designs make Hyundai appealing without resorting to bargain basement headline prices. That has been perfectly illustrated with the Red Dot Design awards for both the new Genesis and the new Generation i10, both of which have received the Red Dot Design award – a first for Hyundai.
