MINI Countryman Coupe to be the MINI Paceman after all
Fri, 06 Jul 2012MINI has revealed that the MINI Paceman Concept which we thought was going to hit production as the MINI Countryman Coupe will be the Paceman after all. There was always little chance that the MINI Paceman – a two door Countryman Coupe first seen at Detroit last year – was doing anything other than heading for production. McLaren SLR Stirling Moss – the Video
Sat, 08 Aug 2009Mercedes McLaren SLR Stirling Moss Featuring the same underpinnings as the McLaren SLR 722, it develops 650bhp and manages 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 217 mph. Which should be enough to dislodge the toupee of those who can afford to buy it. McLaren are only producing 75 SLR Stirling Moss, so perhaps it’s no real surprise that we’ve seen so little about the SLR since it launched.
Toyota GT86 TRD Griffon makes its debut at Goodwood (video)
Mon, 15 Jul 2013The Toyota GT86 TRD Griffon 9Pictured) made its debut at Goodwood this weekend We’re still waiting for Toyota to make a more powerful version of the GT86 (and Subaru the BRZ), but we are starting to get more focused versions. We’ve already seen the GT86 TRD – developed by Toyota Racing development – as a road car limited edition, and last month we learnt that Toyota were going to debut a track version – theĀ GT86 TRD Griffon – and that it would arrive at Goodwood. Now the Griffon has arrived looking immensely purposeful with its wings and diffuser and carbon fibre for the roof, doors, bonnet and boot and some severe fettling of the oily stuff with upgraded brakes, new alloys, mechanical limited slip diff and stiffer suspension.
