For sale: 1986 Honda 200x Seat in good shape with an aftermarket black seat cover. The foam is still in good condition. There is some minor scratching on the rear corner as pictured. All the mounting bolts are in nice condition. There is a homemade Honda sticker on the back of the seat that could be easily removed. The seat pan is still in good condition as well. Automakers need love, not just quality, Strategic Vision study shows
Wed, 13 Jul 2011Strategic Vision, a company that studies how and why consumers make decisions, released its yearly Total Quality Index on July 12, and the results might be surprising. The study found that love--how much or what part of a car that people like--is more important than the number of problems a car has when choosing a vehicle. For example Ford, which was a quality leader in the study, received a number of complaints about its Sync system.
Indianapolis 500: HPD wins Louis Schwitzer Award for refueling system
Tue, 24 May 2011Honda Performance Development on May 21 won the 45th-annual Louis Schwitzer Award for motorsports engineering innovation and excellence in recognition of the Honda Refueling Safety Interlock System. The system, which reduces the potential for fires in pit lane when refueling, was created by a team at HPD led by Roger Griffiths, Jim Goodloe, Marco Martinelli and Robert Bell. The key part of the system is an electronic fuel-probe sensor installed on an Indy-car's inlet valve into which ethanol fuel flows.
New Mercedes S Class starts production – & reveals the new S 63 AMG

Which is what you’d expect. What you wouldn’t expect is that Mercedes would release a video (below) to accompany the news and manage to reveal a car that’s not yet been officially shown – the new Mercedes S 63 AMG – in the process.
