Title and CA Green sticker till 2014

This bike has been rebuilt from scratch. I rode this bike for many many years until i decided to quasi restore her. Short of new aftermarket plastics and decals this bike is essentially restored. The engine runs like any of the new stuff, maybe even better. Starts cold on the first good kick. I'm on the short side and still have no problems kickin her over. I hope you have a good grip so you can stay on this baby! Does not overheat, and i've ridden in some really hot dry days. This is just a fun reliable bike. Its not nearly as stiff as the newer CR's i really think this bike came with a phenomenal suspension. Def better than the early inverted forks of the 90s!

Since the rebuild:
Engine  ~10hrs of trail, maybe 1-2 on a MX track non-racing.
RE-PLATED JUG by Millenium.
Std bore
Jetted Perfectly, runs 32:1.
Carb Main 165!, pilot 58. Stock needle..
Pipe is original i guess. Nothing particular there.
Brakes new pads, caliper rebuilt.
Transmission - solid.
New Sprokets and chain - OEM gear ratio.
Rust ZERO Frame was professionally powder coated.
Suspension Rebuilt - New seals, new oil, new nitrogen bladders o-rings bump stops you name it. Bearings are all healthy greased up and ready to roll.
Tires - New (10-12hrs, its nothing)
Fairings are original. You can buff up the sun fading if you want. Beauty was not my goal. Reliability and fun was.
Seat - healthy, has a half finger tear on the very back. Replacement covers are easily stapled on.
Handlebar / Brush Guards
NEVER power washed, i don't even own one to get water inside the engine or suspension bearings.

I realize selling after all this work is kind of dumb. You're basically paying for my time, my work, the parts and getting a free sweet ride with all the stuff  in it.
Feel free to ask me any questions. Plenty more details on the bike.

McLaren SLR Stirling Moss – the Video

Sat, 08 Aug 2009

Mercedes McLaren SLR Stirling Moss Featuring the same underpinnings as the McLaren SLR 722, it develops 650bhp and manages 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 217 mph. Which should be enough to dislodge the toupee of those who can afford to buy it. McLaren are only producing 75 SLR Stirling Moss, so perhaps it’s no real surprise that we’ve seen so little about the SLR since it launched.

Ferrari F70 takes test laps

Wed, 06 Feb 2013

It's a strange world we live in when, even in my short-to-medium lifespan, we've gone from the 1980 Ferrari 308 GTSi making either 205 or 214 hp—depending on who you're asking—to the Ferrari F70, which is rumored to make 950 hp with its V12 and KERS system. I would put an Excel graph here, but just imagine a line going up at a 45-degree angle to infinity. With all of that in mind, here's about five minutes of the camouflaged supercar flying around the test track with fantastic audio of the Italian stallion in action.

Caterham creator Graham Nearn dies

Thu, 29 Oct 2009

Britain has lost another of the champions of its specialist sports-car industry, Graham Nearn, who died on Oct. 24 at age 76. Originally a Lotus dealer, Nearn built a highly successful sports-car business around the lightweight two-seat Lotus Seven, which he bought from Lotus founder Colin Chapman in 1973.
