The Owners Manual (US edition 1, June 1985, ordering no 329318) has a fold mark on lower corner, front and back, but is in otherwise excellent condition.  All interior pages are fully intact and in excellent condition.  Also included is a Correction page, which has a fold mark along the left side.

The Audio Equipment Guide (US Edition 1, June 1985, part number 02 73 151) has some wear and handling marks on the rear cover.  All interior pages are fully intact and in excellent condition.

The fold-out audio supplement, titled A New Dimension in Audio Performance and Protection, is in poor condition.  Although the front cover appears to be in relatively good condition, there is a tear at the left side (approximately 1/2 inch), discoloration to the rear cover, and the pages are stuck together.

Toyota teases new Corolla. Yay.

Tue, 21 May 2013

Remember when Toyotas used to be weird? Sure, they've been doing some marginal experimentation lately, bringing us one half of the Febreze twins and making the Lexus GS a legit good driver's car. But oh, when will they cast the mantle of staid sturdiness fully into the wind?

Fireworks man cleared over M5 crash

Tue, 10 Dec 2013

A FIREWORKS CONTRACTOR in charge of a display held on the night of a massive motorway crash in which seven people died and 51 were injured has been cleared of breaching health and safety laws. A judge directed a jury at Bristol Crown Court to find Geoffrey Counsell, 51, not guilty of a single charge of failing to ensure the safety of others contrary to the Health and Safety at Work Act. The charge alleged that Mr Counsell, of Ashill in Somerset, failed to ensure he operated the firework display so as to ensure, as far as was reasonably practicable, that others who might be affected were not exposed to risks to their health and safety.
