SEMA 2008 show report: Pontiac G8 and Solstice
Fri, 07 Nov 2008By Ben Whitworth Motor Shows 07 November 2008 10:01 According to Pontiac, its G8 GXP Street, G8 ST and Solstice GXP concepts at the SEMA show ‘raise the performance bar even higher, taking style and sportiness to the highest levels’. Although other details are sparse, the Japanese carmaker does say that the Urban SUV concept's interior is designed to maximize space using its center-tank layout.
EBay exotic: 1980 BMW M1
Wed, 27 Apr 2011What we have here, according to the seller, is an actual one-owner, 4,418-kilometer (2,739 miles) BMW M1, recently imported to the United States from Germany. That's right--the original BMW supercar, one of 456 reportedly built. While the 277-hp straight-six may not sound too impressive today, keep in mind that the European Ferrari 308 only made about 250 hp at the time.
