The 2015 Corvette Z06 has made its world debut, and it's incredible. Chevy's claiming "at least 625 hp" from a 6.2-liter supercharged small-block. Unlike with the C6-generation Z06, the removable roof panel from the standard Corvette is retained for Z06 duty and it's available with an automatic transmission for those who can't operate a 7-speed manual.

Mazda Mazda has issued this solitary teaser image of the new Hazumi concept car, which will be unveiled fully at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The Mazda Hazumi will give plenty of clues about the next generation Mazda 2 supermini, bound for showrooms in 2015. The Korean manufacturer is investing heavily in research and development and will increase its spend on R&D from £2.2 billion this year to £2.6 billion by 2010, combined with a 40 percent increase in manpower at its research centres around the globe. The money is being spent on developing downsized, turbocharged engines, efficiency improvements to conventional engines such as friction reduction and the separation of accessories like water pumps from the engine.
