Condition:New other (see details)

This is an original NOS owners manual for the 1987/1988 BMW 635, L6 and M6, Canada and US cars.  78 pages long. It has never been in a car. I had forgotten I still had some of these, it is from a bag from a dealer shelf. I'm near the bottom of the bag.  This one has some dents on the front and rear covers, upper left and left sides, they are the same, (fromt and rear), front cover shown. It's not from use, just shelf wear, moving frm place to place.  I don't remember if it is specifically for 1987, 1988 or both, the print date is May 1987. It would be good for 1989 as well, but a 1989 manual has a different cover. Buyer to add $2.75 for US delivery, international as quoted by the USPS. Please click here with any questions.

Audi A2 EV & A1 Range-Extender dropped

Tue, 05 Jun 2012

It seems Audi is getting cold feet on its electric car plans with the Audi A2 EV and the Audi A1 Range-Extender reported to be dropped. It’s starting to look as if car makers are waking up to the reality that electric cars are not something car buyers, on the whole, want to spend their hard earned cash on. We recently reported that the BMW range of EVs is being re-thought with the BMW i3 likely to be just a range extender and plans to extend the i-BMW beyond the i3 and i8 Supercar put on ice.

CES: Mercedes-Benz boss talks technology

Fri, 13 Jan 2012

Mercedes-Benz boss Dieter Zetsche characteristically seemed to enjoy his status as a car guy amid the computer nerds at the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show. “I just came from Detroit yesterday, where some people consider consumer electronics to be a mere accessory to the car, and now I am here at CES where some people think the car is a mere accessory to the consumer electronics,” he said in a keynote speech on Tuesday at the event. Zetsche introduced mbrace2, the second generation of the Mercedes-Benz mbrace (pronounced “embrace”) system.
