Crown Suspensions 3" Lowering Springs Our springs are wound from the highest quality spring material available. Hot wound springs are quenched and tempered. Both hot and cold wound springs are stress relieved in a continuous oven, shot peened to increase fatigue life, and set removed to guaranty the springs do not sag over time. We have state of the art load testing capabilities to ensure that the coil springs conform to the required load and rate specifications. All our coils are powder coated a gunmetal grey. Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. The main difference between a conventional liquid paint and a powder coating is that the powder coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form. The coating is applied electrostatically and is then cured under heat to allow it to flow and form a "skin". The powder coat creates a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint so that it does not wear rust or chip like conventional paint. Do not be fooled by other companies selling cheap made springs that are painted and sag and will break after time! For the rear we have included a pair of adjustable 1"-2" lowering shackles, along with our 2" lowering hangers you can adjust the rear to a 3" or 4" drop!

Saab: Vlad Rides to the Rescue
Sat, 16 Apr 2011Vladimir Antonov rides in with €30 million for Saab's coffers It was always an odd move by GM, or the Swedish Government, or whoever it was that decided the deal for Spyker to buy Saab could only go through if Spyker’s money man – Vladimir Antonov – stepped down. It’s understandable if you have genuine concerns about the credentials of a party to the deal, but taking Vlad out of the equation was an accident waiting to happen. Without Vlad there was no financial safety net for Saab.
