This bumper is a MUST have, if you go up to bigger tires. If you put the larger spare on the tailgate you can bent the tailgate hinges and damage it when offroad do to the weight of the spare. Even if you drive only on the street it's best to get this tire carrier, so you don't have all that weight on the tailgate.
