BMW is shaking up its badging strategy and will turn the next-gen 1-series and 3-series sporting derivatives into the 2-series and 4-series. Two-door Ones and Threes - the coupes and convertibles - will in future be rebadged as the BMW 2-series and BMW 4-series. Why exactly are they rebadging BMWs as 2-series and 4-series?

The Mercedes B-Class Fuel Cell cars arrive back in Stuttgart Since January Mercedes has been driving round the world with a trio of hydrogen fuel cell cars to demonstrate that the future is all about hydrogen fuel cells, and not about hybrids or BEVs. In the four months since the three Mercedes B-Class Fuel Cell cars left home in Stuttgart at the end of January, they have covered 30,000 km each (that’s around 18.6k miles) and had zero emissions. Nissan to revive Datsun name in emerging markets, eyes increased sales

Nissan is reviving the Datsun name to increase sales in India, Russia and Indonesia, the company said during a visit to Jakarta. Nissan will invest $400 million in Indonesia over the next two years, doubling hiring and tripling the number of dealerships in the region to 90,000. The Datsun name will begin appearing on cars in 2014.
