Mini reveals tech details for new 2013 Mini Cooper

The Mini Vision concept (pictured) shows what the new car will look like when it arrives in November 2013. There are some big promises here, but can the Mini maintain its runaway popularity a more than decade after BMW revived the brand and created a whole new class of posh, premium-priced city cars? Fiat 500 by Diesel – now it’s the convertible 500C by Diesel

The Fiat 500C by Diesel Fiat has been trying hard to churn out as many limited edition versions of the 500 as MINI have managed on their own re-created motoring icon. That’s probably an impossible target (we reckoned that MINI managed a new model a month last year) but that’s not going to stop Fiat having a good old bash at milking the ‘Limited Edition’ market. One of the earliest limited edition specials from the Fiat 500 was the ‘Style’ makeover from designers Diesel.

Skoda MissionL Concept revealed – the Skoda Lauretta, perhaps?

Skoda MissionL Concept - destined to be the Skoda Lauretta Skoda is on a mission to push its sales through the roof in the next year or seven – aiming for 1.5 million sales, no less, by 2018 –  and part of that strategy is to fill the gap in its range between the Fabia and Octavia. So it’s a good thing the Skoda MissionL Concept fits the bill. Not that we have a great deal to go on with the MissionL Concept, as all Skoda have done so far is send us a short press release and the teaser photo above (which was a lot darker until we sent it through Photoshop).
