MINI Countryman 'On the road' video below It’s been a bit of a MINI week this week. Or rather a bit of a MINI Countryman week. We started off a couple of days ago with the latest teaser video for the new MINI closely followed by a leak from MINI of a handful of pictures of the new crossover MINI.

Who's Where: Wulin Gaowa appointed design director of GM China Advanced Design

Wulin Gaowa has been appointed to fill a newly-created role as GM China Advanced Design's first Design Director. She will start her new role with immediate effect. Gaowa, who was most recently the Advanced Design Director of Exterior Design and Interior at the Beijing Automotive Technology Center, will be based at GM China's Advanced Technical Center in Shanghai, due to open later this month.

College Exhibition: Braunschweig University of Art Show 2006

Transportation Design students from Braunschweig University of Art in Germany presented their work at the 2006 graduation show held in July. The show displayed final thesis projects as well as internship and sponsored projects from the last term. The diploma projects included: eXplorius - Hydrofoil Sailing Yacht Arnold Freidling This mobility concept introduces hydrofoil technology into the sailing yacht class and presents an innovative approach within the traditional sailing yacht field.
