1988 35hp Mercury Outboard Motor long shaft LOWER UNIT / END gear case, was on a 35hp but am told it fits other sizes too like 40 45 50 55 60 65 70. You can check to see if 35hp fits your motor.. Serial number look up I used on net shows 1988 for serial 0b284132. Good used condition, was on a running motor. There was no water in the oil. You will need to put a fresh water pump impeller on prior to putting your motor together ( that is normal maintenance ). Measuring from the top of the water pump housing to the tip of the shaft is 21 5/8 inches. Like all of the items we sell, this item is sold "AS IS". We sell a wide variety of used items.
