*** IMPORTANT, Please read this before bidding ***  I will include the winning bidder's CHOICE of ONE of the huge foldout factory original WIRING DIAGRAMS with this set of service manuals.  Bidder to indicate ONE of the following at payment time in the message section of the paypal transfer, for Mustang (shown in the photo), OR Thunderbird/Cougar OR Lincoln Mark VII.  Wiring Diagrams are IMPORTANT, and are worth at least $20.

Factory ORIGINAL service manual set of 3 books providing detailed service procedures for the entire vehicle, as used in the dealership service area.  This set includes service procedures for Chassis/Electrical, Body, and Powertrain (lower row in photo).  These manuals are VG straight & clean throughout showing some handling use, especially along the binding and RH edges. The pages are clean and the binding are good.  I rate them 7.5 - 8 on a 1 - 10 scale, VG but not quite truly excellent.

As I compose this ad, I note similar sets WITHOUT the Wiring Diagrams priced at $82.95 for a reprint, $89.88, and $119.95.   My price will be less for this accumulation, as I intend my auctions to be the best VALUE.  I clean & detail each manual that I put up for sale, in order to make them the best that they can be.  I ship "same day" and take care in packing, as I would want you to do if you were shipping to me, AND I ship at cost.

Who would like these useful manuals at a modest price?  YOU would?, well then, let's hear from you...

AIRMAIL shipping to non 48 state continental U.S. (PAYPAL ONLY), at my/your cost on 10 pounds:  HI/AK $12.35, Canada $40.95, overseas $59.95.

Record breaking Bluebird reunited with nose

Fri, 13 Dec 2013

WORLD LAND SPEED RECORD holder Sir Malcolm Campbell’s Bluebird CN7 car has been reunited with its original nose. The car’s original nose was damaged and then kept in Coventry since 1960, but it has now been brought back to the car that lives at the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Hampshire. Damaged during a World Land Speed Record attempt on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, USA, the nose of the car was sent back to Coventry for repairs and an updated design to help make the car more stable at very high speeds.

Car makers to be forced to disclaim ‘Official’ economy figures

Wed, 10 Apr 2013

We’ve banged on for a long time about the futility of official economy figures, especially as car makers get better and better at ‘gaming’ the official economy tests to produce the results they want. Much of the impetus to create the best headline economy figure for a car is driven by taxation, with car makers well aware that the better the official economy results are, the lower their CO2 will be (CO2 isn’t tested for – it’s just extrapolated from the official mpg) and the more appealing the car will be to buyers, particularly fleet buyers. But a ruling by the Advertising Standards Agency (ASA) against Audi could at least see car makers having to admit in their adverts that the ‘official’ economy figure bears no relation to what owners can expect to achieve in the real world.

U.S. equity firm to invest $70 million in Saab

Thu, 20 Oct 2011

Race-car fan and private-equity executive Alex Mascioli is pumping $70 million into Saab as the Swedish automaker works to stay afloat. Mascioli's firm, North Street Capitol, is buying $10 million in shares of Swedish Automobile, which owns Saab, and is also giving the company a $60 million loan to pay for the carmaker's reorganization. U.S.-based North Street Capital struck a deal in September to buy the Spyker sports-car business from Swedish Automobile for $44 million.
