This truck is ONE OF A KIND! 189689 miles, 4X4, Air (needs Charged) Power windows and locks, NEW Rough Country 5 inch all spring suspension lift, NEW 33X12.5R15LT tires. I built this truck from the ground up in a custom project style. This 1988 K5 Blazer has original front clip (Rust Free) with an aftermarket steel scooped hood. The cab has the original K5 Blazer dash panel/firewall that has been sectioned through the floor, rockers and windshield pillars with a 1989 beverage distributor truck cab (Rust Free). The truck bed was built and customized using a 1970 Chevrolet short bed step side. I shortened the bed and modified the floor by removing what was a wooden floor and installing a 1985 Chevrolet short bed steel floor. The truck bed fenders where modified with a fabricated steel body line to blend the 88 K Blazer body line with the bed giving it a natural appearance. The drive train is the original 350 Chevrolet throttle body fuel injected engine built with an RV cam and bored .40 over with approximately 5000 miles on the engine. This engine has good power and runs great however with the larger cam the engine runs very rich when idling through town so keeping the RPM's up helps burn the extra fuel its getting from the injectors. The truck also has the original automatic transmission and transfer case. The transfer case (4x4) works well but tends to slip out of 4 high if shifter is not in a certain spot and 4 low is awesome.The custom paint is a PPG base coat clear coat custom finish I completed myself 5 years ago as well as the airbrushing (Not Decals). The exterior having been painted 5 years ago still looks great but has some minor rock chips and lite scratches. The interior is also the original K5 Blazer but needs some attention such as visors sagging, carpet needs cleaning, dash pad is in need of replacement and door panel pull strap caps are mission other wise great shape. The paint scheme on the inner cab is PPG and House of Color marbled base with clear coat. The windshield wiper motor works but is slow moving as well as the right door power window. I have known this truck/blazer from the day it was driven off the show room floor and have owned it personally now for 10+ years. NEVER BEEN WRECKED! I drive this truck only when I feel like it and would not be afraid to take it anywhere. I have enjoyed this truck and am ready for another project. Over 13000.00 invested and am cutting this truck loose at a very low price.
