Here for sale is a 1989 -2006 JEEP WRANGLER HARDTOP TAN BEIGE COLOR ? GOOD USED SHAPE . This is an experienced part so there may be some scuffs or minor marks from usage, I try to take good pictures to show any issues. This was in good working order when pulled from the vehicle. It is in good condition as seen in the photos above. There is a small crack and is in great shape with normal wear. The shocks that support the rear window are there but shot also rear door latch does not work. See photos. Have some hardware for installation is included but not much corner weather stripping is gone. Shipping and handling is free local pick up or calculated freight anywhere in the United States. General Motors cancels plans for Buick compact crossover
Wed, 19 Aug 2009General Motors has canceled plans for a compact crossover for Buick, vice chairman Tom Stephens said Wednesday in a posting on the company's blog. The five-passenger crossover was just announced earlier this month at an event in Northern Michigan. But GM reversed plans after negative feedback about the vehicle said that it didn't fit the premium characteristics associated with the brand.
Porsche Boxster E (2011): prototype Boxster EV
Thu, 24 Feb 2011Porsche recently rolled out the first of three Boxster E electric vehicles, to take part in the 'Electromobility Region Stuttgart' local government initiative in Germany. The Boxster E is powered by two electric motors, capable of a peak power output of 180kW. Energy is stored in a 29kWh battery pack. Not with the Boxster E. Three electric Boxsters are being built as part of a programme sponsored by the Baden-Wurttemberg state government (Porsche's home state in Germany) and WRS, the Stuttgart Region Economic Development Corporation. Porsche's hometown of Stuttgart is one of eight model regions participating in a federal pilot programme sponsored by the Minitsry of Transport, Building and Urban Affairs to develop EVs and their supporting infrastructure. The three Boxster E prototypes will take part in the programme, acting as mobile laboratories for testing EV usage and planning for EVs in urban infrastructure. CAR's view? We reckon this electric Boxster E is much cooler than your usual EV council van.
