1989 Cavailer Z24 Digital Dash on 2040-parts.com

split side skirt on right side.
Brand:General Motors

Up for auction is a digital gauge cluster for a 89 Z24 Cavalier. Bought this to test my original cluster. Turns out it wasn't a problem with my cluster but a major wiring issue under the dash where the connectors meet at the firewall. The car has since been scrapped and now just selling off the few pieces I saved. It worked at the time I installed it, and has been in climate controlled storage, but no guarantees if it would now. Also has a split on the right skirt where it meets the body of the cluster. Thanks for looking.

2013 Volkswagen Passat R-Line & new 1.4 TSI arrive

Mon, 13 May 2013

The Volkswagen range is hugely successful and largely appealing, but it’s not always the most dynamic looking range of cars on offer. Which is why the R-Line option of fairly understated sporty add-ons is so popular and why VW is offering it on more and more of its range. Now we get the VW Passat R-Line treatment (just as we did with the old Passat) with a bespoke body kit offering more butch bumpers front and back – and cornering fogs in the front bumper – side skirts, 18″ Kansas alloys, spoiler at the back, lowered suspension, extra chrome, Bi-xenon headlights with LED running lights and privacy glass to give the Passat a much more appealing look.

The McLaren 12C bites the dusts – killed off by the new 650S When the new McLaren 650S was revealed in February, we commented that we expected the McLaren 12C to quietly disappear. And it has. To start with McLaren simply halted production of the 12C to concentrate on building the new 650S, but now they say it won’t be restarted as the McLaren range ‘evolves’.

ECC pulls out of ‘Spy-in-the-sky’ road charging trials

Wed, 14 Jan 2009

Essex County Council, in a show of uncommon common sense, has pulled out of trials for the new ‘Spy in the Sky’ road charging tax. Road pricing trials halted in Essex Secret trials of a new system to charge motorists by the mile were due to roll out in Essex, Leeds, North Yorkshire, Buckinghamshire, London, and Suffolk, trialing the technology that would enable the government to charge motorists based on where they drive and when they drive. But the whole trial has been put in doubt after ECC announced they were no longer prepared to take part.
