LOCAL PICKUP or Potential Local Delivery ONLY

This auction is for one used 1989 Ford 302 engine, and some ancillary parts.

This engine had 119k miles on it and was running well when removed from a running and driving Ford Crown Victoria.

It has EFI, and this auction will include ancillary wiring harnesses, air intake box, and other parts such as the alternator, PS pump, and AC parts (AC parts were not working when removed, other parts were working).

I have to apologize for the bad photos.  The engine is in my van, which also has an engine hoist stored in it.

However, this makes delivering this engine much easier if needed.

The engine / van is located in Greenwich, CT, and if you are within an hour of Greenwich, possibly I can deliver it to you.

See my other auctions for the matching Ford OEM AOD transmission. The Ford OEM drive shaft for these parts is also available.

The project that I wanted to use this engine for has been cancelled.  Hopefully this will work for your project!

First McLaren P1 customer cars delivered & specs and performance confirmed

Mon, 21 Oct 2013

First McLaren P1 customer cars delivered With McLaren starting production of the P1 earlier this month, and the P1 has now starting to arrive in the hands of real customers (which, it appears, is more than Ferrari can manage with LaFerrari) with it comes confirmation of the immense performance the P1 offers. The 0-62mph time of 2.8 seconds is impressive enough, but the 0-124mph of just 6.8 seconds, quarter mile of 9.8 seconds (at 152mph terminal speed) and a limited top speed of 217mph makes the new P1 astonishingly quick. If we look at the P1′s rivals claims for performance, LaFerrariu comes close with (vague) promises from Ferrari of a 0-62mph under 3 seconds and a 0-124mph if under 7 seconds.
