Nearly a half of male drivers admit to sleeping at the wheel
Thu, 09 Jan 2014Nearly half of male drivers admit to having fallen asleep at the wheel, a survey has found. Road safety charity Brake and insurance company Direct Line found that 31% of all drivers admit to ‘head-nodding’ at the wheel – meaning they’ve fallen asleep while driving a car for between two and 30 seconds. In uprated 'S' guise, the 577bhp/580lb ft exec saloon monster can only be ordered with 4Matic all-wheel drive in left-hand drive markets, but the UK gets only rear-drive cars. This time last year we had engine upgrades for the 2010 Corsa – and some economy tweaks and fiddles – but nothing in the way of cosmetic changes. This year we get no oily tweaks but we do get the 2011 Vauxhall Corsa Facelift.
