The new car is a big deal for Jaguar, as it allows the Brit car maker to go head-to-head with the likes of BMW, Audi and Mercedes in the fiercely competitive compact executive market. 2011 Chevrolet Camaro discovers more power--now it has 312 hp

Chevrolet has found an additional 8 hp for V6 versions of the 2011 Camaro, power that likely has been there all along. The direct-injection 3.6-liter engine with VVT is now rated at 312 hp, up from last year’s 304 hp. Chevy didn’t actually do anything to the engine.

2010 Acura ZDX recalled

Acura said on Tuesday that it is recalling 1,850 versions of its freshly launched 2010 ZDX crossover for a potential airbag problem. The recall stems from a dashboard material that was cut wrong, which would cause the passenger-side airbag to deploy improperly. About two percent of the vehicles recalled are likely affected, spokesman Gary Robinson said.
