Ford EcoSport concept
Wed, 04 Jan 2012Ford is choosing the New Dehli Auto Expo to unveil its EcoSport concept. The all-new crossover vehicle is comparable to the Fiesta in size and is built atop Ford's new B-Car architecture. Designed in Brazil under the direction of Joa Marcos De Oliveira Ramos, the EcoSport is poised to be a significant part of the company's ‘One Ford' strategy that will see the previously Brazilian only EcoSport rolled out further afield in markets both developing and mature.
Volvo S60 Polestar goes in to production
Wed, 17 Apr 2013It sounded like a plan to put it in to production – even if it would probably need twin turbos to make it nicely wieldy on the road – and that’s exactly what Volvo and Polestar have done. The Volvo S60 Polestar has gone in to limited production, initially for the Australian market, but instead of the mighty 508bhp of the concept it has to make do with a more pedestrian 350bhp, little more than the V60 we reviewed last year with the Polestar upgrade. But the extra power is enough to get the production S60 Polestar to 62mph in 4.9 seconds and, thanks to tweaks to the suspension, brakes and aerodynamics, the S60 Polestar looks like it will be able to handle the power quite well.
Mercedes GLK at Detroit

To be honest, the cars look little better in the metal. Aiming to draw inspiration from the iconic boxiness of the legendary G-Wagon and the more car-inspired sculptural curves of the huge GL-class, the resulting melange does no credit to either.
