Im selling a good used take out Clark cl455 5 speed transmission. It was in a 1990 Chevy C-70 and was behind a 8.2 detroit diesel engine. It was in a municipal truck that was parted out due to rust and had 97,000 actual miles. The transmission comes complete as pictured and has a mechanical speedometer and a PTO. The transmission shifted good, did not jump out of any gears or make any abnormal noises. I can strap to a pallet and load onto your shippers truck, or I can get shipping quotes for SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY! If you have any questions, feel free to email me

Tesla pays off its government loans

Thu, 23 May 2013

Tesla paid off the last of its $465 million government loans May 22, nine years ahead of schedule, thus outperforming most U.S. college graduates and the vast majority of American homeowners. Tesla used funds from a stock offering to finish the loan with a whopping bank transfer of $451.8 million Wednesday, pointing out that it was “…the only American car company to have fully repaid the government.” Apparently no one at Tesla was even born when Lee Iacocca paid off Chrysler's $1.2-billion government bailout ahead of schedule back in 1983.

New Jaguar XJ Supersport Diesel coming?

Sun, 30 May 2010

The Jaguar XJ Supersport TDV8 - expect it in showrooms in 2011 We’ve known for quite a while that Jaguar Land Rover were going to start putting a new V8 diesel in to their cars. The 3.6 litre TDV8 which goes in the Land Rover is a very good lump (made by Ford at Dagenham) with some decent horses and a nice fat lump of torque. But the introduction by Jaguar of the 3.0 litre diesel and its subsequent introduction in to Land Rover’s cars meant the 3.6 litre’s days were numbered.

Spyker Venator – First photo and details of Spyker’s B6 Concept arrive

Sat, 02 Mar 2013

The first photo of the Spyker Venator – Spyker’s new car concept for the Geneva Motor Show – has arrived ahead of a reveal next week. If the modern history of Spyker (and of Saab) has taught us anything, it’s that you should never doubt the ability of a dapper, self-confident, deal-making Dutchman to bounce back from adversity. Many would have expected Victor Muller to be down and out after the Saab Saga, with his grip on Spyker forsaken for the Swedish odyssey and his pot of gold imprisoned in Vladimir Antonov’s Mayfair penthouse.
