INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: CUSTOMS FEES FOR CROSS BORDER SHIPMENTS ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER.

PLEASE CHECK WHAT (IF ANY) CUSTOMS FEES YOU MAY BE OBLIGATED TO PAY WHEN YOUR ITEM IS DELIVERED IN YOUR COUNTRY.

SHIPPING NOTE:

ALTHOUGH MEDIA MAIL IS THE LEAST EXPENSIVE WAY TO SHIP BOOKS, IT IS ALSO THE SLOWEST METHOD OF DELIVERY BY THE US POSTAL SERVICE.

THE STATED DELIVERY TIMES FOR USPS MEDIA MAIL ARE 2 TO 9 BUSINESS DAYS.

MOST ITEMS ARE DELIVERED WITHIN THIS TIME, BUT THERE ARE OCCASIONS THAT THE USPS TAKES 8 OR MORE DAYS JUST TO GET THE MADIA MAIL ITEM FROM PENNSYLVANIA TO THEIR NEW JERSEY SORT FACILITY.

IF YOU CHOOSE MEDIA MAIL, PLEASE HAVE THE PATIENCE TO WAIT FOR YOUR ITEM TO BE DELIVERED.

ALTHOUGH I ALMOST ALWAYS GET YOUR ITEM OUT THE DOOR AND INTO THE USPS HANDS WITHIN ONE DAY OF THE SALE, IT IS THEN BEYOND MY CONTROL ON WHEN YOUR ITEM IS ACTUALLY DELIVERED.

IF YOU NEED YOUR ITEM AT YOUR DOOR QUICKLY, PLEASE CONSIDER PRIORITY MAIL, WHICH IS ALMOST ALWAYS FASTER DELIVERY.

WHEN YOU LEAVE FEEDBACK, PLEASE DO NOT JUDGE MY SHIPPING PERFORMANCE BY THE OFTEN PATHETIC USPS PERFORMACE ON DELIVERY TIMES.

THANK YOU.

Hyundai ix35 makes it to Harrods

Tue, 08 Jun 2010

The Hyundai ix35 makes it to a Harrods window display We’re not too sure whether we should take the news that the Hyundai ix35 will take pride of place in one of Harrods’ Brompton Road window displays is indicative of the progress Hyundai has made in the last couple of years, or it’s the new owners’ policy to show its visitors what the proletariat are driving these days. Whichever it is, there will be a top of the range Hyundai ix35 Premium in dazzling white strutting its stuff – well, sitting in the window anyway – in one of Harrods’ window displays for the whole of this week (w/b 7/6). This whole ‘Hyundai in Harrods’ is a bit of PR flim-flam to get some headlines and copy (see, it works) but it does show just how far Hyundai has come.

Aston Martin Cygnet concept (2009) first official photos

Wed, 16 Dec 2009

Aston Martin has finally released detailed pictures of its premium supermini, the Cygnet. Based on the Toyota iQ, and sharing the majority of its mechanicals and interior architecture with the Japanese city car, the Cygnet is a major deviation from Aston Martin’s bread and butter luxury supercars. Sort of.

Ford puts Volvo up for sale

Mon, 01 Dec 2008

Having spent most of the last twenty years carefully building up a portfolio of Prestige European car makers, including Jaguar, Land Rover, Aston Martin and Volvo, the last of these, Volvo, has now been put up for sale by Ford. This hardly comes as a surprise when you see the precarious state of Ford. It’s busy going cap-in-hand to the US government looking for a bail out, and selling off Volvo could add several hundred million pounds to its decimated balance sheet.
