This is a pair of  factory black Door Panels out of a 1990 Mustang LX hatchback. These are in real nice condition, one of the better pairs you can find with minimal wear & no severe damage. The cloth center can easily be removed & recovered back to stock, also there are aftermarket custom inserts for this style door panel. Weatherstrip is intact & is flexible.  One speaker grill is attached in nice condition, the other has damage to the lower mounting hole(see pic).. Backs are fairly straight. One map pocket is nice the other should be replaced.  These are for power windows with power locks. Fits all 87-93 Mustang with PW & PL. Best fits the Coupe & Hatchback, the convertible has extra weather strip where the mirror goes. OEM for 90-93 Mustangs with Black interior. Will NOT work for manual windows. Ford is creating a new sub-brand for the European market, even though the top-of-the-line "Titanium X" trimmed cars are strong sellers already. The name of this sub-brand will be one that most of you have heard, perhaps not associated with the Blue Oval: Vignale. Ford has made it clear that none of the Vignale models will be sold in the U.S..

The global market for large executive saloons was in decline long before the Great Recession appeared, the buyers in this segment increasingly tempted by models as diverse as the BMW X6, Infiniti FX, Cadillac Escalade or Mercedes GL-Class crossovers and SUVs. The generation that was chauffeured in an S-class or XJ is retiring, with the owner-drivers who succeed them soon to be preferring a Porsche Panamera, Aston Martin Rapide or Audi A7.

Magna Electronics develops 'Touchskin' concept [w/video]

Electronics firm Magna is working on a new technology it calls 'Touchskin concept' that has the potential to eliminate traditional switches and instruments inside vehicles. As part of its ‘Intelligent Surface Technology', the Touchskin concept is set to be an integral part of a system that allows the user to control the car via intuitive gestures – such as pinching, tapping and swiping – as we've become so familiar with when using smartphones. The potential design implications are easy to see with the large amount of space made available by removing the traditional instrument cluster and its wiring and the removal of wired-in switches and buttons.
